I was born in a small town in the south of Italy. It was wonderful that is for sure but when I look at my childhood pictures it might as be one of those third world countries.

I would rather be how I am now Italian decent. Grandparents were born there. I'm glad to be second generation Canadian Italian. Although I wish I would have paid more attention in Italian class to pick up more of the language than I know. PURE whops born and bred from Italy have a different way of thinking and you can't change them. Most are stubborn!

I am an American and have some Italian blood. My grandfather was born in Catanzaro, Italy, and came over when he was just a little three-month-old bambino. I am proud to be an American, but I like having Italian heritage. I visited Italy in 1989 and would love to go again someday.

Born in Italy, and this is what I am. I'm very happy I was born in my country. PS: I'm from northern Italy which IS a first world country, in fact Ferrari, Maserati, great fashion, industries, and more, are from northern Italy. I don't envy nothing to Americans as I have everything they have, plus a free health care.
