what age do you think is ok to let my child be on youtube??

Probably between 11-13. I think it depends on your child though. Most kids only become interested in youtube when they're 12 or 13 anyway, which is a good age.

well, set them up for an account and put the age to their age so they cant access anything that is intented for past their age, yay youtube! I'd also recommend about 8+

Ime 13 and joined this year, i found youtube inseresting and even uploaded some videos of my own.
If your child understands the interent, I really think you should get him nvolved with youtube, it has a Filter on it so he can't get on to any rude stuff...

In my opinion its all up to you and your children, you need to see how mature they are and how responsible they are..they are bad things on you-tube not suitable for young ages on you-tube they may influence them if they don't know what they are doing or are doing it with their own intentions. Honestly i would think around 12+ just because thats when young males and females seem to become more mature about reality as adults.

It doesnt matter what age they are you cant really get into too much adult things besides language, they keep adult material off of youtube pretty strictly so you wont have to worry about that.

whatever age. youtube isnt bad. they dont allow porn or anything like that. i think that if your kid can figure out how to use it then they should be able to use it. good luck =]]]
