Back in the late 70's when we were in Germany, the items in the eggs were made of metal, plastic and wood.

i first got it when my aunt brought it back from germany..i don't remember my first kinder surprise but the one i like best is a snoopy skiing. my friend got it and gave it to me..when we were in Uni, we will each buy 1 or 2 at a time and open it together and see who got the best surprise ;)
I still buy it now and then but it's so expensive

Oh so that's where Kinder Surprise Eggs originated from?
They are these chocolate eggs that you get lil plastic toys inside.
Anyway no I've never had a "Kinder Egg" sorry.

I have to be honest. I never bought them for the surprise toy but for the chocolate itself. It was delicious. I do remember a plastic car I found, it was really hard to ensemble but then made a great toy.

hmm i dont know i like them all because you get to make them. my latest one which is somewhere packed is a little green guy with a little mushroom hat and he has white antennas that stick out, i guess he is some kind of cartoon character that i dont knw.
