I remember yearningly wathe days when life was so simple. You did not have to live without breathing room for yourself.; to continue to accumulate things as a mark of progress.did not have to live in a way that placed stress on yourself or the environment. Most importantly, you did not have to get lost in the trivia of life at the expense of what matters to you.
They appear so distant now almost like the Biblical Garden of Eden days. I bore a grudge for Adam for sqandering such an opportunity of eternal bliss. But now I know. After entering adulthood I walked on the footprints of Adam, made my life more complicated, more family or even self centered,vying with heighbours and cluttering the house with unnecessary things which overflowed.Adam might also have yearningly looked at the Eden days. I also do but thenext ,moment the thoutht of divesting myself of all these acquisitions sends a shudder throuth me with 'What would the people say?' There is nothing left except to wistfully look at those days when life was so simple.

I once went on a retreat into the bush where everything was the same as it was the 1500's. Nothing was simple then, and if our lifestyle ain't simple now, then I don't think it ever will be.
Simplicity comes when you have great time management!

Barely......life was simple until age 6, then your parents decide to make you do chores, then you have to deal with school which gets harder every year, then you have to get a job....I miss the good old days

when I was little and didnt have to do anything expect eat poop & sleep. Life was so simple. All i had to do was cry to get what i wanted.
Crying doesnt do much now. It gets me no where *tear*

Oh yes, when I was younger.
Life was so carefree, no one could break my heart, I've never really feels sad. Everyday is a day filled with happiness, playing with my friends in school, wacthing cartoons in the evening, everything was so wonderful
those were the days, when I was a kid
