Last choice is can (it starts to get a metallic taste after a while).
If I drink beer from a can, I definitely pour it into a glass.
Sometimes I'll drink straight from the bottle, sometimes I'll pour into a glass (sort of situation ethics).

I quit drinking few years ago but my mom will wake up every morning around 6 am,pour a warm beer into her favorite glass,nuke it for 45 seconds then chug it along with a big swallow of southern comfort.
I personally think its nasty.

it depends on the beer - most beers are designed to taste best when poured - so when i am worried about how the beer tastes i usually pour it into a glass - sometimes a chill the glass to help it stay cold
