The Exorcist, the original Amityville Horror and Angel Heart.... I'm not much into gratuitous gore... I like psychological horror. I think a powerful suggestion and a great imagination do more to scare me than gore. But sometimes a good freak show can be fun... but there is a fine line... I think only a few good movie-makers can pull it off.

Most if not all Asian horror, Japan and Korea rocks! There's a great one called: A Tale of Two Sisters from Korea that is a very quiet, subtle horror film (maybe thriller is a better term) and it is great. I just finished reading the Ring book by Koji Suzuki...much, MUCH different than the American and Japanese movies.
