hey, i know you are looking for some answers on here (duh), but its something you really need to talk to you doc about. i knot that coming down on ambien you can have some trouble sleeping for a week or so-- that has happened to me. i have tried lunesta before and it didn't really work for me, but that is just anecdotal. lunesta may end up working great for you. different people respond to different medications and different amounts of those meds. so, its really best to be constantly checking this with your doctor so they can give you the best advice, interpret your reactions to the meds, and monitor how your sleep is. good luck!
