how long can a mans sperm live inside a woman?

If you have fertile quality cervical mucus(like raw eggwhites) then sperm can live for up to 5 days but more like 2 is more typical. If you don't have fertile cervical mucus, creamy or lotiony or none, then the sperm will only live a matter of hours
