It is absolutely and perfectly fine.

You obviously have adapted a good routine for this baby and he or she is getting what they needs throughout the day. As long as your baby appears healthy and alert, let them sleep away.

Remember remember remember, ALL babies are different. Some must feed every two hours until they're four months old. Some babies figure things out fast and sleep through the night almost right away.

Yes. Babies do better when fed on demand instead of on a schedule. When someone feeds a baby when they are not hungry it can lead to childhood obesity. As long as he/she is eating good during the day (Not lethargic) and finishing a feed, then it is fine to let them sleep. My son was a preemie (Almost 3 months early) and he came home from the hospital a week before his due date, and at 2 weeks corrected age he was sleeping through the night.

Heck yeah.

We had good sleepers too, not quite that good, but good enough. If you're worried about the amount of food they get, keep track of what they eat during the day (amounts and times) and give your doctor a quick call and ask if they feel comfortable with the total amount of food the baby is consuming. I for one, am of the school that a child knows when they're hungry and let sleeping babies lie.

For gosh sakes, there's dozens of parents that would shoot you the evil eyeball if they heard your four week old already sleeps through the night. :)

I would never wake a baby at any age, but when you say sleeping all night. How long is that I don't think I would let it go over 10 hours. but you are the Mom trust what you think, Moms just know with there own children.
Good luck

Well, see, they say youre not supposed to, and that you should wake the baby after 4 hours if he hasnt woken up by himself. I actually let my son sleep through the night on several occasions at that age just to catch up on some sleep. Dont do it constantly but one or two nights wont hurt him and youll feel alot better too. As long as he is gaining weight he should be fine.

yes they say never ever wake up a baby sleeping thru the night enjoy it while u can. I used to worry about that aswellI would even feed my boy while he was asleep to make sure he was ok lol. Now I just enjoy it because he doesnt always sleep thru he goes from 8pm til 3am and then into our bed til 6am when its feed time.

as long as your baby is eating great during the daytime and staying hydrated and growing then it is fine to just let your little one sleep through the night. My mom says i slept through the night from day 1 I just got plenty to eat/drink during the day.

If your baby is sleeping, I wouldn't wake him or her up. I have a feeling from experience that this phase wont last long, so enjoy it!
