I hear that around 16 weeks women feel movement. I have felt what could be movement I guess (like bubbles popping). But it wasn't clear to me, so I'm not sure. And when will I feel kicking and all of that? Thanks!

Those bubbles could be the first movements. Basically, your doctor will want to make sure that you are feeling consistant movement by 28 weeks.

In your first pregnancy the early movements often go unnoticed or though of as gas. These become more consistant and you will recognize kicks soon!

Congratulations!

yes my friend is barely 4 months pregnant and just found out the sex of her baby ( a girl) and she feels her baby kick almost everyday, sometimes more than once in a day. a few days ago we were having lunch together and talking and all of the sudden she twitched forward and I asked what was wrong and she just smiled and said that her baby was kicking again. So yes it is very possible. Some babies in the womb are more active than other babies, even in the earlier stages of pregnancy. And 4 months is in the second trimester, so it's not too unusual that you could feel the baby moving.

Those little bubbles are your baby. She will get stronger as she gets bigger. If this is your first baby, you won't really feel a decent kick for another month probably. Around 22 weeks try eating some hot wings. That will make your baby give you a very reassuring kick. Within 2 months you will very clearly feel her kicking, and be able to rub your belly and encourage her to kick. Enjoy the little bubbly feelings for now. They are much easier to sleep through!

It basically feels like fluttering at first. That is probably what you are feeling. It should be really soon when you feel the kicking. Then you will be waiting for due date because the baby is kicking too hard or up in your ribs. Just joking being pregnant was the most exciting and beautiful thing I ever experienced. Good luck and congrats!

You don't have to feel baby moving yet. 18wks is still early and baby is only about 17cm head to toe and weighs about 150gm's so thats tiny and very hard to feel.Another 1-2 weeks and you'll feel it. But you're right. You will feel a sensation like flutters or bubbles in your tummy, but real kicks won't come till 26-28wks once bub starts to really get moving and bigger and able to bounce off the walls inside his/her home! Its so lovely when you feel that first huge thump in your diaphragm or bladder.
Good luck and I am so envious of you!!

Everyone feels it at different times, but by 20 weeks you will feel the baby. The "gas" you are describing may be the baby. In time you will know for sure.

FYI 16 weeks would be on the early end of the spectrum, but would be possible.

congrats on your baby.
Don't worry to much. If this is your first Baby you might have felt it already but just didn't know.
The first time I felt my firstborn I thought I had an upset stomach.
Take a warn (not hot) bath and relax. It will come. If you are not feeling OK about this, call your ob/gyn/midwife and have your Baby checked out.

It depends, if you are heavy it could be up to 6 months before you feel it. If you are slim in build it can start anytime. Don't worry your baby will be kicking you like crazy before long! Just wait till your about 7 months and then you feel him/her kicking you in the ribs when you are trying to go to sleep. Its okay!
