My problem is, I really like this girl, and she is sweet and quite cute, however a I thought since she is she may be a little upbeat and carefree... She turned out to be one of those 'quiet, straight talking, No no-nonsense' kind... We ended up discussing business, and I asked her what her did and she is a Corporate Lawyer...
I was a bit intimidated, cause I am not use to a woman like that...
When I initaly approached her, she gave me this cold look...
I have asked about her.. This guy who is alright with her says she is a 'cold fish, almost like she does not show any emotion, she will prob. be that way for a long time'
I asked a friend of her's as well who said 'she is a nice person, and a nice friend, but she can be a bit cold, and sometimes rough around the edges, she also takes work seriously'
I do not know what to do, please advice, Cause I have never been in a situation like this, and I like her, however I do not know what to do or say... also, what do u think?

well personally i know there will be other girls out there that you will like. but if you want, to get it off your chest just ask her out, and see what she says. i wouldnt waste any time on her though. to mych hassle for you

I am just wondering why would you be talking to everyone else, but her? What you heard from everyone are their opinions, what you need is to form your own. No matter what she does for living, she is still only a woman inside. So, if you find her attractive and intriguing enough, go for it. Ask her out, talk to her. Be a well dressed, charming and witty version of yourself, and she will love you. As a lawyer, she has to be tough and sharp at the office, but she could be a complete opposite in her personal relationship. Sweet Pea it just seems she has her head on straight and she is not looking for any outside entertainment. I mean it wouldn't hurt to ask her out, it really might loosen her up a bite. With woman like that you have to know how to make her laugh, that way you can chip her wall down so she can see that you are really a good person. Good luck!

have compassion for her as she may be so uncomfortable opening up and would find you interesting to just be yourself around her. you don't know anything about her family life that may have shaped her personality. just be yourself around her and make her feel safe to be herself around you. and when SHE is ready, i'm sure she will be able to open up to you little by little. don't force her, just make her feel safe. have lots of fun and make her laugh. see where that gets you .
