Yup. I'm a massage therapist, one time I had to massage this woman who smelled horrible for an hour. I wanted to throw up so bad. But I had to maintain my professional level and just deal with it. I held my breath off and on the entire thing. I've had to do it more than once too.

Once a homeless man came into the gas station that I use to work at and he smelt so bad that my co-worker and I could smell him on the other side of the store. My eyes did not water until after I threw up from the smell. I know that sounds really mean but I have a weak stomach and strong odors make me vomit.

Yes, and unfortunately it was my best friend. She has a very poor family and a couple of times her water has been shut off so she has to go sometimes a week without water and hasn't been able to shower. Sometimes I can't even stand it but I say nothing because I feel so bad.

Yes! I have smelled people with such horrible B.O. that I gagged and had to get away from them before I barfed. How do they not smell themselves??

yes and it was a patient where i work at so i had to attend him i was holding my breath and turning away to take in some fresh air. but sometimes old ladies perfume doesn't smell bad but its so strong it makes me dizzy!
