"The Ryan budget pretty much guaranteed that." lol........Just because a Huffington Post blogger said this doesn't make it true. Hell, I would bet at least 40% of the GOP doesn't like Ryan's budget. It will be a non-starter. TRANSLATION: It will no longer exist as a foil next year. Obama will have to stand on his record........which is not "change" (even using the most creative interpretative defnition of that word). Obama kept Bush's wiretapping, Bush's bailouts of the banks, Bush's policy of pre-emptively attacking counties that were of no threat to the U.S., Bush's indefinite detention, Bush's no bid contracts to U.S. corporations rebuilding Afghanistan, Bush's pick (Ben Bernanke) to head the Federal Reserve (who are doing exactly what they did prior to the crash of 2008 hoping for different results). In addition the healthcare bill was a gift basket to the pharmaceutical and insurance industry (not exactly a socialist move considering it's a rehashed version of the Republican "market based" approach of the early 90s). Financial reform ignored "too big to fail" and has so many loopholes it will be rendered completely useless (by design of course). In fact the largest financial firms are even larger than they were before the economic crises...........go figure. Corporate profits are as high as they've ever been, while unemployment remains near 9% officially (in reality closer to 20). This IS NOT the work of a ***socialist***. It's more like reverse fascism. The same agenda (where pursuit of corporate profits and consolidation of state power supersedes the will of the people) is continuing unimpeded. Obama gave a facelift to corruption. That is all. I know many Democrats like to think their party is fighting for the common man.......but they aren't. The sooner people accept this fact, the better.

The Dems' plan My name isn't George W. Bush. No matter what the question Same answer what ever Bush's plan is mine isn't that one. I'm not even sure the Dems would say if Bush decides to leave Iraq they wouldn't say then we are staying. Since they are all saying the same thing why waste your time. I'm surprised that a million did.
Now if the Dems actually offered a thought out plan complete with the consequences of their plan it would be front page news all over the world.

Because no one cares.
We already know what they have to say. How do we know that? Because they talk constantly. All they do is shout their opinions on a daily basis, criticize other candidates incessantly and make unending statements about their "plans". Talk is cheap, especially when coming from the current Democratic presidential candidates. It's just taken up until this dire moment for people to notice.

Listening to a bunch of socialists argue over who can tax the American people the most, is not worth my time. I could care less what they say. I've heard their class warfare speeches enough. Besides, every time I've seen a democrat debate, they get nothing but softball questions.

I think because:
1. Most solid Democrats think that Hillary has it locked up.
2. Most independents are frustrated by the Dems.
3. Most uncommitted voters aren't going to care until a month before the election.
4. We've all figured out that the Democrats don't really represent change, anyway. They just represent wining. Check out the "action" by the Democratic Congress so far to end the war. Laughable. We need some politicians with guts and principles. Time to vote them all out (both parties) and start with a bunch of new people. Can't be any worse.

The dems would rather have few people watch them on MSNBC, CNN and refuse an invitation on ratings powerhouse Fox, because they know many more informed, intelligent, well educated people would watch them and place more scrutiny in the carefully planned and rehearsed rhetoric.

Because its still too early for many people to care, Republican or Democrat. It's like watching the second inning of a baseball game. People will get interested in the ninth.
