Key Question (in two parts):
(1) Do you NEED a new machine now, or can you wait, say three months?
(2) Is your old Mac/PC slow enough for the increase in processor speed to make a major difference?

If the Question is "NO," then wait...

P.S.: it IS a sweet machine...

the tiger os good enought...but if u don`t need the comp now,u can wait...but the difrences won`t be huge!
ok,u will have a better processor and stuff like that..but the tiger and leopard are not a lot different...is like with windows...the 98 and the 98 second edition...
but the os X is already huge!!not every mac can run the os X
