There are not too many stuff that would make a caliper stick and the brakes get somewhat warm. One is the calipers sticking, yet because you replaced them, then that would desire to no longer be the subject. If the potential brake booster became into defective, then you definately would have complicated and delicate brakes. If the brake grasp cylinder became into defective you will would desire to pump the pedal to get the brakes to artwork and it would in all probability be leaking fluid someplace. Your pads would are starting to be unsecured and dropped down and are rubbing. you should get some noise. the main probably reason is in all probability a bad brake hose. They ruin down interior and while the fluid is pushed by way of and the calipers depress the pads, a flap of rubber will drop down and stop the fluid from returning to the grasp cylinder and the brakes stay against the rotor. with regard to the only different situation ought to be the proportioning valve. The proportioning valve adjusts the rigidity happening your front and returned brakes. The rears are in all probability drum brakes and that they take extra rigidity the have interaction them. you are able to specifically situations take the valve aside and sparkling it out with brake cleanser and placed returned at the same time. specifically situations that fixes the subject. reliable success.

WHAT YEAR??
it`s possible that it`s just a NON power brake model. Was it old? did it have 4 lug wheels or 5 lug wheels? did it have drum brakes in the front? If so, then No, no power brakes which means that the pedal is going to feel hard. People did really drive this way!

and the pedal squeaks because its old and needs a shot of WD-40 to cure the squeak (but that will not cure the hard brake pedal fee)l.

really, you kids dont need to be so paranoid of old cars!!

here, can you believe Brembo makes front drum brakes for Mustangs??

Mustangs are stiff sometimes...

there is a vacuum booster under the hood that helps with the effort of pushing on the pedal...

if you have a bad vacuum booster it will feel really hard to press...

i dont think theres anything wrong with it. if youre worried about the squeak you can spray a little wd-40 on the top of the pedal. that should keep it from squeaking for awhile.

Sounds like the vacuum booster or lack of vacuum to it.

either the vacuum booster is bad or there is no vacuum going to it
