Just bought the car and would like to change the code.

The factory code is taped to the computer module.
To find the computer module, just call your local Ford or Mercury service department & they can direct you.

The factory code cannot be changed, but you can ADD an alternate (or personal) code. You will need the factory code in order to do this.

I will provide you with a link/source for your complete (free) down-loadable owners manual. It is in pdf format & easy to save to your computer for future reference

You will have to take it to the Dealer to re program the codas with a (star tester) It might coast a little but you will be able to change the codes, hope this helps.

you can get the information at "alldata.com" but they might charge u for a password. They have all the manufacture settings for EVERY VECHILE
