Samantha 100%...Not only do you have the nicknames option, but it can also be more professional later in life.

Which lawyer would you hire? Samantha/Sam Jones or Caprice Classic...I mean Jones. A Caprice is a Chevy!

Samantha is a better choice between the two.

Whenever I hear the name "Caprice," I either think of a car or someone mispronouncing the term "capris"...not a person.

I prefer Samantha. If you like, you could be called Sam as a nickname which is kind of neat for a girl. Caprice just doesn't sound like the name of a person, more like the name of a car.
Any special reason why you can't choose your own name?
