If you have proof that the HR record is tainted, please share it with us. How can an innocent man taint or disgrace a sport that he holds in high regard? Of course, he took HGH and steroids, but they were legal because Bud Selig did not ban those substances until after Barry and others used them.
I'd think that since everyone feels that Alex Rodriguez may be the next in line, it may be either Ken Griffey and A-Rod competing for the next HR title. Ken Griffey and Sammy Sosa are the closest to Barry right now.

I actually dont mind barry having the record. I started watching baseball the year before he started juicing and he was one of my favorite players. Im happy to see that he finally is going to be let rest by the media.. it was getting really old. I think it is also should be stated that i am a sox fan. I also cant wait to see arod break bond's record.

I agree. I would much rather A-Rod break the record, not Barry Bonds.

To beat Bonds, A-Rod will have to get at least 790. I predict Bonds will hit 35 more the rest of this season and the next 2 seasons before he retires.

Well you have to give props to Barry but I would also love to see A-Rod get it. He eventually will and people will know that he is one of the best players in history. But A-Rod's time will come verry soon.

I think Arod can get at least 800. Even though he is on the Yankees I would not mind seeing him get it.

i think arod is definatley gonna get it soon. he's already got 500, he's still young, and thats more than barry had at his age. so i say give it 7 or 8 years. it'll be arod soon.
