I Know People Will Tell Me To Contact A Lawyer,, But I Dont Have The Funds...
My Husband Who Lives On The Other Side Of Canada From Me. Who Never Calls, Asks To See Her On Cam, Or Asks For Pictures, But Pays Childsuport Wants Joint Custody, When Filling Out Court Papers With A Family Court Worker I Granted Him This, He Hasnt Resived His Papers Yet And Am Having A Change Of Heart.. Dose Anyone Know How Joint Custody Works On Such Bases As This? Or Can Link Me To A Good Site?

True JOINT custody only works if you live really close to eachother, keeping the child in the same school disctrict, etc. Dont go there. Think about whats best for the CHILD not for you or him.

Keep your change of heart. Settle with him and tell him he can have visits and so on but retain full custody. It wont make a bit of difference for his child support amount. However if he has joint custody and leaves with the child there isnt much you can do about it. If he has limited rights then it is considered parental kidnapping.

wAiT! yOu MAy HaVE a chAnGe Of hEArt AGaIN. Why trouble us unnecessarilty? Wat for some more time and think think think and think some more and then decide whether there is any chance that you may have a change of heart again.
