Employee got hurt and lost about 2 hours of work while at the doctors getting treated. Does the employer have to pay for that 2 hours of missed worktime?

Most employers would, however it depends on the labor code and rules where you reside.

He is not legally bound to pay the employee, but it would be a very good gesture to do it. I'm an employer and would pay any one of my employees if that was the situation.

Workman Comp will not pay for lost wages unless the employee is off because of the injury for 2 weeks or more and then it is retroactive back to the first day of the injury.

I got hurt at work and had to go to the doctors to be treated and have xrays taken. Worker's comp paid for my medical bills. However, I was told I had to be out of work more than 30 days before they would pay my wages. I lost almost a whole day's pay.

No. If the employee misses less than 3 days, the employer does not have to pay a dime.

of course he got hurt during office hours. not only that u have to pay for his medical and hospital fees too! don't think u can run away from that becos the government will chase after u for trying to dump him!
