It was on the television, but I guess a dial phone is a relic also

On a T.V. or on a phone? Either one I remember doing both.

Also, moving the antenna, having only 6 channels. That is for TV any way.
For the phone, I have fond memories of trying to dial fast to win on the radio give aways.

If you're talking TV, remember between the 2 and the 13 was UHF then you went to the other dial and tried to tune in one of those new UHF stations?

Yeah, I do... It took forever to call anyone but I liked the noise it made. Also, the darn dial on the tv. You had to get up every time you wanted to watch something different... no channel surfing.

I do! Hated those things. Always thought I was messing up because I was thinking so hard about it...
I also remember typing my homework out on a typewriter. And going to the library to get books for a project because the internet was not so huge. And when Pluto was a planet...

When I was little, we had a dial t.v. in the kitchen for a while. But all of our main t.v.'s were remote control. The dial t.v. era was before my time. I respect it all the same :)

You mean rotary telephones? Yeah, I kinda remember them. I actually remember when payphones were rotary dial.

I wasn't alive then, but I would imagine it'd be a royal pain. One mistake, and you'd have to start all over. I tried it once, and didn't know what the heck I was doing.

I do. We used to have 2 phones like that and my parents have one of those rotary phones in their bedroom.
