Do you have a favorite old wive's tale? Maybe something that makes you chuckle, or something that is meaningful.

I'm interested in hearing some tales that I may have not heard of before.

I have a couple....

1. Seeing an ambulance is very unlucky unless you pinch your nose or hold your breath until you see a black or a brown dog.

2. If 3 people are photographed together, the one in the middle will die first.

3. (this is my favorite) Don't knit a pair of socks for your boyfriend or he'll walk away from you.

First of all i grew up thinking it was wise tale not wives tale because thats what my parents always called it. My boyfriend finally told me it was wives tale though. hmm...im not sure if these are wives tales but i was always told if you eat carrotts your eyesight improves and if you eat crust it makes your hair curly...
