You are aware that origami is done in paper, aren't you? It might not be the most practical material to use for making charms. I'll give you a good site that will explain the different folds. Once you learn, find a design you can make ( such as the crane ) and keep making it with progressively smaller paper until you get it charm size. Then you would punch a very small hole in it to insert a jump ring to attach it to whatever you have hanging off the phone. I think a better idea is to make designs with Shrink Art plastic. This is a product that you can shrink down to charm size in the oven. Do a web search for instructions on how to use it. I think it would make more practical charms than origami.
