i was a passenger in the car we just stopped at a stop sign and then about a block from the stop sign we were hit by an off duty state police officer right in the middle of the car the car flipped twice and then we landed upside down, and at the time of the accident i was 4 months prego with my daughter who is now going on 9 and it was determined that the officer was at fault for inattentive driving, and just 20 minutes before the accident a bunch of school children were waiting for their bus right were the car landed luckily the bus was on time that day, all i remember from the accident was crawling out of the broken window and not being able to see because my glasses were smashed, and was told because i did not wear my seat belt it actually saved me from being paralyzed and injuring my daughter now normally i wear my seat belt but for some reason the seat belt would not stay latched in my friends ford tempo and she was not wearing hers either which also saved her from being paralyzed all injuries that i suffered was a punctured kidney and some bruising which required a over night stay in the hospital to monitor my daughter and my friend just received some bruising , and minor scrapes

Yeah. You could call it the worst day of my life. It was less then a year ago. I was 11 and I was moving from FL to TN. I didn't wanna go cause I had sooo many friends I would be leaving behind and I was not happy. Me and my mom were in south GA and it was a little rainy. We were in a Toyota Scion xA. My moms tires were a little bad but not too bad, not bad enough for them to pop or anything. As soon as we got on this bridge, one of the tires popped for some reason. We went spinning out of control! We had my dog in his crate in the back and I was in the backseat with the birds and the bird cage. I fell against the cage and had a bump on my head and got bird seeds in my hair and my mom was OK. The guy that was driving behind us let me sit in his truck while my mom was talking to the officers. It was kind of like a flash, one second everything was fine, the next, my moms car was totaled. The airbags didn't go off because only the back of the car hit the walls of the bridge.
You know those commercials where they show someone in a car accident. That's exactly what it looks like. Not fun.
Hope you like my experience story (whatever it's called)!

Yes. I was in Italy with my family when I was eight and some relatives were driving us somewhere. a car came from the oppossite direction and hit us head on. they don't wear seatbelts there, especially back then and i nearly went flying over from the backseat into the fron seat but my mum grabbed me. The car was a wrie off. Another time I was in the car with my family, here in australia and my dad stopped but the car behind us didn't but there was not much damage and no one was hurt. Another time I was going out of a carpark and i scraped the car along the wall.I thought I had gone over a speed bump but when i took the car home my dad started yelling and I realised what had happened. Another time i tried to go around a car that was turning into the drive way and I hit the edge of the back of his car. I tried to drive off because I thought he didn't notice but he beeped me so i stopped. Another time I found a parking space and there were people behind me so i didn't want to hold them up and i always thought it looks like it is not going to make but there is always enough room so i just drove in really fast. this time there was not enough room but i hit the car so hard that i must have pushed it a little because I also made it into the parking spot. I called my husband who was just my boyfriend then and he waited for the owner to come back while I did my shopping. I think that is it.

Approaching a light at an intersection divided by a statue, I noticed an orange Camaro was turning left as though he hadn't seen me. I crammed on the brakes but the street was wet from a light rain and my Tempo skidded into his back panel. There were pieces everywhere but nobody was hurt. My daughter, who was 12 at the time, was in a store up the street (I'd been going to pick her up)so I walked down and told the clerk to call the police. I walked back with my kid, who proceeded to get hysterical that I could have been killed and had an asthma attack. The police arrived, had the other driver and I write out what had happened, and then cited him for failure to yield. My car was still driveable so I went home and had to explain it to my husband (it was his car). Insurance paid for repairs but the other driver declared bankruptcy so I don't think they ever collected from him.

I was in a car accident when I was fourteen. I was in a car with my sister (age 15), my cousin (age 15) and my aunt. My cousin was driving the car. She didn't have her license, only her permit. We were driving down a backroad at night time and my cousin was riding to far on the wrong side of the road. A car was coming head on and my aunt was afraid she was to close and was going to hit it so my cousin moved over (acting like a professional little know it all teenager-you know how we all did back then) and she ran off the road just a little. That scared her so she over corrected herself and ran off of the road hitting a VERY LARGE electic pole. We totalled the car!!! We hit a chain link fence which really helped us to slow down. She had to of been going at least 55 miles/hour on that little backroad! I can remember everything in slow motion... I could literally see each and every link in that fence slowly smashing against the hood of that car. I know that sounds strange and it really was but it did happen like that. Ya know how they say that your life flashes before your eyes? It really does! I thought about everything that I'd ever done in my life. Everything I was going to miss out on because I thought I was going to die. I don't remember actually hitting the pole because I was knocked out by that time but I do remember I was in the backseat with my sister and my head hit the side window and then came back and hit my banged into my sisters head. I don't remember anything after that for a little while. That hit knocked us both unconsious. I was able to walk from the car but I had whiplash, two blackeyes that lasted about 2-3 months! I had a very large busted lip. I was tremendously lucky. My cousin and sister had to have stitches on their face and my sister fractured her arm. My aunt almost died in that accident. She wasn't able to walk from the car like the rest of us. She was unconsious for a very long time. She bled from her ear and everything. I can remember seeing the paramedics working on her and the worried look in their eyes. That's been almost 15 years ago and my aunt is still not the same from that accident. It did something to her head. This is a little long but you did ask for details! lol! :o)

I was in a fender bender.
While i was waiting to turn right at a light two cars went flying by first and as i waited for them to go by this guy slams into my rear bumper. i was like what the heck! drove to a nearby gas station and got out of my car to check the damage. the other guy followed and asked if i was okay. i was fine fortunately and so where they. once we inspected the damage we realized it was minimal, (he had steered towards the side to avoid hitting me head on, so my left tail-light was broken) but we exchanged names, numbers, and i got his licence plate number. i was in shock so i didnt know what other info to get. afterwards, i gave him a call to get the rest of his info, like insurance policy number and everything else i had forgotten to ask for. he didnt respond to i began to think that maybe he hadnt given me the right info and i was screwed! i hadnt taken the time to double check the licence plate or anything! fortunately he had been truthful and called me back the next day to give me the rest of the info.
all and all im glad it wasnt that bad and the person who had crashed into me was honest and accepted his fault. :) now i know what to do incase i ever need to pass on the advice or if this ever happens again (knock on wood)
