I need to get rid of my password for BOIS, 'cuz I lost it and don't remember it, and I heard that I can just use the Clear CMOS jumper pin on the motherboard to do so... So what does the Clear CMOS pin do? And would I just flip the switch and flip it back, or would I flip it and reboot?

I don't know if you have the manual for your motherboard, but there should be a jumper/connector near the battery which you can move the jumper between two pins momentarily with power OFF for 10 seconds then reinsert the jumper back to reset your CMOS settings. Mine requires moving the jumper between pins 2 & 3, then back to pins 1 & 2 after 10 seconds. If not, then go with the other answerer's suggestion.

You may try this. Unplug your computer and take the battery out. When the battery is out, plug it back on and turn on your computer. It won't boot, so don't worry. Unplug the computer again (without the battery in) for a second time and turn it on. It won't boot again. Then unplug it and install the battery, this should reset your BIOS to the original settings.
