The Right Wing swiftboaters have run a very good smear campaign on Senator Clinton to the point where she's being attacked by both the right and left. I'm not a Hillary supporter by a long shot, and until six months ago I could have posed the same question you have. But since then I've noticed that nearly all of these attacks on Hillary are unfounded, opinionated drivel. I challenge anyone to produce conclusive evidence to back up their claims from either from the right (that she's a communist) or from the left (that she's a neocon). Let's see how much you need to spin your evidence to fit your pre-formed opinions. I think you'll wind up finding that she's probably the most moderate out of all the candidates.
Good luck.
Edit~
If you think a neocon is a "liberal that is a conservative" then you're way off base and just plain fuc**ing wrong. Where did you get that idea? Did you make that up or do you have a reason to think that way which is based in fact?

Wink! Wink! Hillary changed her positions, to support her run for President. She wanted to protect herself from being challenged that she is too liberal, too anti-military and too weak, to be President.
Wink Wink! Her marriage is phony.
Wink Wink! If you elect her and the focus groups and polls indicate she should turn back to liberal, you know she will; but if they don't, sorry liberals you may be dissapointed. She cares more about power and ambition to carry your soclialist flag. She goes whichever way the polls tell her to go... she would sell out you liberals, the same as anyone else.
Did you notice she doesn't call herself the feminist anymore? After leading the attacks, hiring the goons and P.I.'s to physically intimidate, threaten, smear, pressure to perjure- the victims of Bill's "dozens of sexual harrassments" , Hillary made it even worse by steering N.O.W. to side against Paul Jones, who they woiuld have rallied behind if she were propositioned by a con. Hillary set women's rights back 30 years & you never hear a mention of it (ever) by the liberal media.

Because it will be Bill doing all the thinking. Bill will be to Hillary as Dick is to W. Wasn't Bill a good president? Shouldn't he be given another two terms?

Cute, but me thinks you don't know too much about Hitler, or Hillary, or both.
My vote isn't cast yet but I'm listening to all candidates, Democrat or otherwise.
