hahaha The Ramones are from Brooklyn babe. But Lily Allen isn't bad, Amy Winehouse, The Subways... hmmm... The Who are obviously the most brilliant band ever. Pick up Live at Leeds. It changed my life. Track One: Heaven and Hell. I've listened to that 39 times. Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience are mostly british, The English Beat: Beat This, The Beatles, U2, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Warren Zevon: Werewolves of London, Elvis Costello and the Attractions: Armed Forces, and Wolfmother (Australian, but the best band ever). The things after the parenthese are good songs/ albums. So those are my very favorite bands from the UK. Please pick me for the best answer!!!

I'm older, but Rod Steward & faces before they got big, "A nod is as good as a wink or , long player" pretty straight rock, gentle giant 60-70 interesting, Genesis early, "foxtrot" or "Lamb lies down on Broadway" when Peter Gabriel was lead vocal. Moody Blues, Yes,
