Personally, this might disgust you but, when I hurt my foot, I stick it in the toilet and flush it. It kinda tickles but it takes away the pain!

Soak it in epsom salts if you can, think about taking a pain reliever if it is really throbbing, aspirin will help the healing process, just don't hit it again while it is recovering. I'm giving you a star in the hope that helps you feel better.

If it's not a serious injury, try rubbing it deeply. Your deep pressure nerves over-ride the pain receptors and thereby numb the pain.
