my safari dock icon is displaying a bunch of pop-ups i want to know if there is an easier way of closing these windows without having to open each window individually. any multiselect functions?

got to system preferences>keyboard&mouse>trackpad> then check tap trackpad with 2 fingers 4 second click. then just put 2 fingers on the trackpad and press the button.

Not directly from the Dock icon; you'll probably just have to flip around between the windows using Exposé and close them individually. The Dock menu seems to register left and right clicks alike as left clicks (no context menu).

(Edit: Dull Jon, Option-clicking the Dock icon just hides/shows the application, and Option-clicking the close button is a shortcut to close all the windows — he may wanna keep a couple open. :P)

Jon almost had it, its control+click

Alternately, if you have a MacBook pro(not sure bout other Macs) you can set the trackpad for a right click which consists of having two fingers on the trackpad, then the click. This is how I have mine set up.

Also most two button mice work with macs, that could be another option.

Why not go to the to the top menu bar for Safari, drag down to block pop ups? It will block all of them.

i believe it's option+click.
