can japanese or red maple trees live in tropical country like Philippines?

i wanted to know if there are maple tress living in the Philippines because i am planning to grow one.

You will need to find out what planting zone you are in. Quite frankly I've looked everywhere for it and can't find it. Most (avg) Japanese maples do well in zones 5-8 if that helps.
