Good question. If there were pre-slavery African Muslims, I can't imagine there being very many. I realize that some blacks are drawn to Islam out of racial pride, thinking that Christianity is the "white man’s religion" and that Islam is rooted in Africa. However, if I recall correctly, Christianity in Africa predates Islam by 600 years or so. Christianity was founded at the beginning of the Common Era, in what is known today as Israel and Palestine, and had expanded to Africa long before spreading to Europe. Missionaries traveled to North Africa during the first century C.E. for the sole purpose of sharing the message of Christianity. However, to the best of my knowledge, Muslim contact with Africa began with the arrival of the Arabs- to invade, conquer, devastate, plunder, and enslave.

they only "get no blame" in case you have by no ability study any historic previous books. The involvement of Black African coastal states in the slave commerce is infrequently the heavily guarded secret which you advise. no person who has heavily studied the slave commerce "blames whites for each little thing". it is not the remainder of the worldwide's fault in case you're too lazy to do applicable study
