turn off all security software. then download some limewire, kazaa or bearshare and surf for some porn. also visit some websites that suggest free mp3, wallpapers, cracks and similar stuff. oh, and subscribe to news on every site you visit, pretty soon you will receive spam emails, and those usually are infected.

Go to most porn sites, or any other site which is not secure and you can bet you will get a virus through silent, invisible downloads put on by nuts, including religious fanatics who don't like certain sites or products.
Just turn your virus protect off and drop your firewall and you will bee infected very quickly.
I don't understand for the life of me why you want to get a virus, but if it is your computer, you have some answers.

Any time you go on-line, you get a chance of getting a virus. Download a free anti-virus program. I use Avira Antivir Guard, it's from Germany. Automatic updates every time you go on-line. And, it's free. Search Free Anti-virus downloads. If you have Yahoo Toolbar, go to the right at the top of the toolbar to the >> and run Yahoo Anti-spy

look up on somewhere that wont get you in trouble, like google, and then type in the search, how to: computer virus or something like that, or you can download something or visit some adult sites, the will usually get ya filled up with viruses, but in order to have a somewhat safe one you would need to create you one yourself, believe me, you would have to be more that just a casual computer user to create on, unless there is a really thorough lesson that you can find, or get some help with some friends, but it is pretty hard to create viruses, key loggers and all the rest of that good stuff. but anyways they are very bad to mess with if you do not have a firewall or virus scanner on your computer... hope that helps.

Well you never want one... But you do need to get rid of them, which can be really tricky sometimes. Viruses can be caught by downloading some software that maybe looks legit, but in reality is not. Most people confuse Spyware with viruses. They are similar but not the same thing. Spyware/AdWare is software that usually takes over your computer with pop ups and unwanted ads.

If you're using Windows, it's pathetically easy. Just go into the Windows Security Center and turn off your firewall and antivirus (if there's one installed), and surf the web for a little while, download a few files and you should be crawling with 'em. If you're on Linux or a Mac, I'm afraid it's dang near impossible, sorry.

many ways
- from Internet (websites, downloads, etc)
- from files (in CDs, diskettes, etc)
- from emails (attachments)
solution: install anti-virus software and keep the pattern updated.

You get viruses by going on websites that give you viruses. Most likely pornography.
