nice place for a picnic south of england?

iam looking for somwhere south of london to take the kids for a picnic with a shallow stream for hand fishing

Yalding in kent, station= Nettlestead

theirs plenty of small streams on the river medway, they are tributaries, just walk along the bank, over the small styles and you will come across loads.

PS: They have a very child friendly cafe right on the river.
