Why do people think its ok to mock Maddie McCann?

swan tips: I am not that concerned about her parents, if that is what they call themselves.. Its how people mock the whole thing.. at the end of the day a child is missing and to post things jsut to get attention is wrong and sick.. like example.. ones saying McCann dead etc

I have been on y/a reading all sorts or questions, comments, speculations etc about what happened on May 3, since this date, from hundreds of people. But I am sorry I don't think I have read ONE question, comment or speculation, mocking poor little Maddie, everyone who has a heart feels for this little girl hoping that she will be found safe and sound, and that nothing terrible has or is happening to her, on the other hand, i have read 100's of questions, comments and speculations regarding her parents, the fact that they left 3 children under 4yrs of age alone, while they wined and dined 100 yards away, where they supposedly could see the apartment (which is a lie). So please don't say that people pro or anti Mccann mock Maddie we do not, we mock the stupidity and heartlessness of her parents. Have you read Gerry's blog, where he informs you of his daily runs, and haircuts, are these the comments of a heartbroken distraught father, supposedly looking for his child. I DON'T THINK SO, DO YOU...............

I have read some of the comments above .I am an adult male old enough to remember the moors murders , I remember the faces of the parents on tv,ive seen the faces of other distaught parents on tv and in news papers since then .
I can never remember such a travesty and incompitance in any investigation . I can not recall anyone considering how terrified and alone little Maddie must have felt screaming and crying for her parents but no body was close enough to care .all to often parents put booze before baby ,,
If you can cry one tear for her!!. Say a prayer for her safety ,
And the next time you see a couple out at night ask yourself are thier children safe from fire and fiend that might steal them away..

I havent seen anyone mocking Maddie...but then i havent seen many posts debating the issue of the parents possible involvement in a sensible way either. Posts full of hate and innuendos arent very constructive and i'd like to see more people putting forward their theories with a little less of the presumed assumption of guilt.

i have never read a single posting on this site mocking Maddie mccann. i have read, contributed, and posted questions regarding the parenting of this unfortunate wee soul no body is rubbing dirt on the poor child's name, people however are questioning the parent's actions before, during, and after the child's disappearance

Why do people think that it is OK to support the people who neglected Madeleine and left her alone in the first place? If you like Maddie don't you dislike the people who neglected her?

As for mocking Maddie I haven't heard about it. We mock the parents not the child.

Perhaps there trying to get some of the attention that the poor girl has been getting in the news it prevokes a reaction from people like your good self. It's sad some people dont care what kind of attention they get good or bad it's just attention to them. I think it's cause they are lonely people who just want someone to pay attention to them. sad :(

Have a heart there parents made a mistake but they must be going through hell for it now. How many of us have left there kids for a few mins. The fact people are saying the parents deserve to be mocked are justifying what some person has done just a little!

Um sorry but I havent seen one thread about anyone mocking Maddy, and even if one individual did all of the rest of us would be saying get a life and things like that. We mock her parents not HER. and because we mock her parents it doesn't mean we are mocking her!

I've never mocked Maddie. Got no time for the useless parents - I hope and pray that little angel is safe, but I fear not. The truth will out - soon I hope.

i seriously don't think people are mocking this poor child....but are mocking her parents.....especially if it does come out that they had something to do with her disappearance. the fact that they left madeline and the twins alone at night brings them into light as negligent parents. why leave your child alone like that then cry over the fact that she is missing. so once again people are mocking madeline's parents, not her.....
