Depends on the brand and how many are in them.
I used to buy the Playtex Gentle Glid Multi-Pack (36 tampons) and it was $9-10 dollars with tax and everything!
I switched to a DivaCup though, it saves a bunch of money!

Ya know, things like that and toilet paper should be free, since they are necessities! I can't believe how much the cost of tampons has gone up recently! They were under $5, then they went up a bit, and the other day the same box was up to at least $6! Ridiculous...

About a dime if you buy them in the box. My advice: Playtex brand with a PLASTIC APPLICATOR. I think it's called "Gentle Glide" and I use the medium volume ones. I have been doing this for about 30 years and trust me, hands down, this brand is the easiest and most comfortable to use.

You can get a box of 20 or 30 for around $4.00 at most any store. If you want one, try a public bathroom, they are .25 cents each

Individually, they're a dime or a quarter apiece in the vending machines. By the box, $3.

Cheaper than milk! And of course, the generic ones are less than the name brand ones.
And usually you only need them one week a month, so it isn't much at all.
