It came out in 1994 and starred Sean Nelson and Samuel L. Jackson. Its nothing like any other hood movies but id say its one of my favorites.
Another great movie is BELLY that came out in 1998 and starred DMX and NAS
Also DEEP COVER 1992 starring Laurence Fishburne
