Yesterday, I put too much oil in my lawn mower and clogged the air filter. I drained the oil and replaced the air filter. It finally came back on, but the smoke is still there and now it smells like its burning. I am afraid that I may blwo the engine. Help!

Right on fordman.

It's happened to me after loaning my mower to a relative. Once all the oil has seeped back down and burned out it'll be right back to normal.

When I went to buy a lawmower for the first time I saw 3 aisles full of parts for lawmowers, that's when I decided to get an electric one. No gas, no oil, no spark plugs or parts to replace, no maintenance, NO NOISE AND NO SMOKE FOR MY NEIGHBORS!!!. Do yourself, your pocketbook and your neighbors and the environment a big favor, get an electric lawnmower!!!

The worst you will do is to foul the plug. It may take some time to burn it all out. It should clear up on its own after some time. good luck.

I agree, its just cleaning out the leftover oil in the carb/intake that spilled over, it shouldnt hurt it.
