I have a Dell XPS with a Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz)/dual core,1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 20" ultra sharp monitor, 256MB ATI Hyper Memory PCI- Express X16 Radeon X600 SE, and a 80GB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 RPM) Is this video card good enough for Battlefield2 it seems to run well but sometimes takes a while to load. Should I try to upgrade if so what and how much?

Upgrade to a graphics card that does not share system memory. Depending upon your budget the Radeon 1950 Pro or 1950 XT could be worthy choices.

BF2 is very ram intensive as well as video. The x600 is comprable to a 6600 and will run bf2 at best on medium. I would get an 8 series Nvidia card if you can afford it. You will see alot of performance increase. Also if you upgrade to 2 gigs of ram it will help also.

If load time is your only complanit and you are happy with the graphics, then get more RAM, that is what will help load times. An X1950Pro can be had for under $150 right now, if you do want to see some improvement in the graphics.
