uh let's see...pizza 30-40 minutes...average ambulance response in a city...4 - 6 minutes. Where do you live...hmmmmm. If you're in a rural area, yeah it might take some time but in a city...well...see..if people would stop using ambulances for things like drunks wanting a ride to detox instead of paying for a cab, maybe there'd be more crews on the road. Oh well.

You know that is so true! When my step dad almost died it took over an hour for the ambulance to come but I can be eating pizza in the comfort of my own home in 20 mins tops! It's a sad thing to think about...

Because the pizza guy makes a lot of his income from tips. The more pizza he delivers the more $$$$ he makes. The ambulance drivers don't.

Duh!
Probably because there are more pizza places than hospitals. Also, you kind of have to prepare a little before saving someone's life.

Around here, the pizza place is only a block away. Hospital is 2 miles away.

if you order a pizza in your town it will get to your house faster than a hospital in a different town.
