This is not something achievable by just trying, all thoughts are connected in someway or form. You have to break out of the paradigm you simply live in. Acceptance is first, after that, it will all come naturally.

Clinging on to misery is an excuse to wallow in your own soil. The only way to escape is to sow the seeds of a better day.

Hypnotherapy. I used to be sceptical about it, but about 10 years ago, I'd been out of work for a while. I put my failure at job interviews down to my lack of confidence, within a week of the hypnosis, I was offered a job on the spot - I put this down to coincidence, but then friends who didn't know that I'd had hypnotherapy (I was shamed to tell them) started commenting on how much more sociable I'd become.
I can't vouch for all hypnotherapists, but if you can find a good reputable one, I would highly recommend it.

Uh-oh,sounds like growing pains!
Tell them that everyday that passes is one less day to suffer.
It's like anything that is healing. The pain draws the the healing stuff.
Let them know there is an 'other side' to this .
So keep the memories. They will be good again.
Someday.
