Okay, heres my senerio....

I accidently deleted SAFARI from my MacBook and i had to reinstall OSX in order to get it back.

My problem is that when i reinstalled OSX it gave me this previous systems folder that has all the same stuff my current OSX has already. Is this previous systems folder nessisary? is it eating up my hard disk? can i just simple drag it to the trash can? please help i only get 120GB on this thing as is... the last think i need is a bulky folder that i cant do a thing with. please list you exprience with mac's. and if your some PC pushing pinhead, go stick it in your usb port

first off, yeah, delete it, but make sure all you stuff is were they belong first. next, you didn't have to reinstall the whole thing. you could have just opened the MAC OS X install disk and pulled out an extra copy of safari. or download one from apple.com

mdigitale is a known troll on this board. Ignore him, he's a mistake of nature.

Why would you reinstall the operating system just to get Safari back? You could have just downloaded it from Apple's website.
