Are cysts harmful?

I may have one on my tailbone(I had one before). If I can manage the pain I'm experiencing right now, would it hurt to wait a while before having it looked at. I find it hard to find a doctor around here.

Cysts can be harmful, they certainly can be detrimental to one's health. Generally, you can go without treatment for a short time, but you should get a complete checkup because they may be indicative of another, more serious problem.
