me and my dad love the song i wonder by kellie pickler,it has so much meaning to it and its such am awsome song. and i was wonderin if her mom tried to contact her after her mom heard the song or something?

um i dont think yall read the country magazine...she wrote a story HERFELF about her mom left her when she was just a baby and then her dad got sent to jail and she lived with her grandmother. so shut up

Kellie's mother walked out when Kellie was 2 years old. When her father was drinking or doing drugs, she lived with her grandparents, Faye and Clyde Pickler, Sr. In an Interview Kellie said I Wonder was basically questions she would like to ask her mother if given the chance.

I saw Kelly on tv the other night and she was asked the same question. No, her mom has not contacted her since she wrote and recorded the song.

that is my fav kellie song!
yes her mama actually got custody of her when she was 9! but kellie's mom was abusive! she actually said to kelie, when kellie said that she would rather kill her self than live with her mother, her mother gave her a knife and told to go ahead and do it!!
its really sad!!!

"I Wonder" makes me cry whenever I hear it. Maybe it's because I'm a mother and can't believe anyone would dump their own sweet, adorable, little girl! Kellie certainly has my respect and blessing! I wish her luck, because it's about time she had some!
