even if they are, they will never admit it...

part of a perfectionist's plan is to find fault in everything, no matter how PERFECT. since their ideal is never achieved, they remain forever unsatisfied.

is it the lack of EFFORT they imply by criticizing? the unworthy RESULT? or are the TECHNIQUES used to get there at the heart of the problem?

doesn't really matter which, there is nothing done PERFECTLY. a grudging respect is all that can be realistically hoped for.

I think perfectionists are never 100% happy. I think they want things to be perfect because they feel imperfect inside. They want what can never be possible and can never be achieved. I think it is almost a coping mechanism for them. I think they are satisfied for brief seconds, almost like a “fix” until they get to the next one. My dad was like that, if it was an A, why wasn’t it an A+… not all are that extreme. That’s just my point of view from living with a perfectionist.

i'm a perfectionist approximately each thing. i'm additionally emotionally delicate so I freak out while issues are not ideal. Makes issues somewhat difficult as quickly as I attempt to enable my words bypass like some human beings gain this actually. while it includes writing my expectancies ARE intense. some human beings say I critique somewhat harsh. i'm no longer so surprising at sugar-coating issues. BQ: I even have this undesirable habit of procrastinating from actually each thing I write by using drawing near right here. Be it a paper or a singular-in-the-works, i'm going to be right here till purely approximately all my time is wasted. I even have an habit of using "somewhat" in another sentence. i'm getting lots extra useful. somewhat.

An interesting question! I bet they aren't ever really satisfied with anything. Nothing is ever perfect - it's impossible for it to be, but a perfectionist probably keeps looking for ways to make it better and better.

I'm a perfectionist. But remember, perfection is in the eye of the beholder.

I am definitely a perfectionist and hardly ever find anything that pleases me. almost all of my things have to be top of the line, nothing cheap!

As we know, nothing is ever perfect. Perfectionists I assume only do everything in their power that they can, not perfect it. There's always bound to be problems, intervening to their perfectionism. So that's what bugs them and doesn't reach their satisfaction to the fullest.
