My mice tell me it is just an urban legend. They do not like cheese because it is too salty for their tastes. They will, however, take a raw peanut in the shell as a treat.

It's an urban legend. They eat it because the smell attracts them. They'll go for anything.

We love cheese just as much as the next guy, but we love fresh food even more. We'd like some champagne and we love to live the same food you "Humans" Like!! :)

Does my dearest, sweetest sister have a *trap* for all those rodents she's talking to? It would be a great kindness to me, and to my other catly friends if she would share?!
Cat thinks they are partial to velveeta, which everyone knows isn't really cheez, just cheez food!

I find most wild mice don't go for cheese much at all. When baiting traps I find they really go for bacon or peanut butter. K ;o)
