i agree. it is totally on my mind all day about how WOMEN ARE GONDOLIERS. i just cant get over it. i really think somebody should do something about this. you know: if you write a letter to the president or congress, they would definately do something about this. this has just been a problem for such a long time, i am glade somone brave like you stood up and said something. BRAVO! :)

I dunno if that's a major issue in Venice. But I'd b interested if that's worth discussin' & db8n' at that Las Vegas hotel; San Marino or something. As 4 asking y ain't women gondoliers, I respond w/, "y not?" Not a problem w/ me.

I have no problem with women handling poles. So long as they can learn proper technique and not snap them off mid shaft, why not I say.
