What do you think about giving gift cards to brands like Ralph Lauren,A&F,Ae,Hollister and that kind of brands for holidays?

I think gift cards are a cop out... do the right thing and Buy them something you think THEY would like or look good in. Do some investigation as to what size the person is, and what taste they have and then buy the gift, and have it wrapped in nice paper, with a greeting card attached... no gift bags please... that is another cop out. Whoever gets the gift will love you. Ralph Lauren makes some lovely things!
