No, they should pay more taxes because of all the cost to taxpayers for gay rights, gay pride parades, and gay marriage and hate crime legislation. We non-gay taxpayers have to flip the bill for all their special rights. I wold suggest to you that heterosexuals should pay less taxes, because gays have more rights then straights.

I am the last who is homophobic, however please get real! Millions of people are paying taxes that don't get the same rights. Always have been, and probably always will be!

So the answer is yes! Though I don't like people who do not enjoy full citizenship or wealth status, bearing the brunt of the fallout for a very few people. Out of 132 Million tax paying families, there are less than 700,000 who own most of America, and that is wrong! They needed a tax-cut at the expense of the poor my you know what! And THEY talk about wealth redistribution! I guess that is a one-way street for them!

what are you smoking?
What does being gay have to do with taxes? The Constitution says all men are created equal and have the same rights. Even though I'm not gay that is a form of discrimination. It is the same thing like saying because black they should pay more taxes. This is outright ridiculous.

What rights dont they have? If you talking about being married to the same sex yeah well so be it ,some day things will change but they still have to pay taxes just like every single person in the USA does.

They do have the same rights. What I think you mean is they want a special right to marry someone of the same sex. (Which I think they should have that right, I don't know why it's such a big deal.)

They work so they should pay income taxes.
They own cars and houses so they should pay property taxes.
They buy products in stores so they should pay sales taxes.

What does taxes have to do with being gay? Or is it the tax breaks married people get? My opinion is we should let them get married and then they can have their tax breaks.

On the contrary, you have exactly the same rights as any other citizen. You are free to marry anyone of the opposite sex you desire, just as I can. You just arent going to be provided superior or special rights based upon a lifestyle choice. And dont give me that biological predisposition crap. Im a biologist, I know better.

They have the same rights as every other citizen. In fact, they have protected status which gives them special rights. Maybe they should pay higher taxes for that.

Good point.

And can you believe there are loons here actually claiming that gays have the same rights - or even MORE rights - than heteros? Unbelievable.

How do they not have the same rights?

A straight man can't marry another straight man. A gay man can marry a gay woman.
