When I mean is that I don't anyone should ever live paycheck to paycheck or ever be in such a tight financial spot, no matter what. The thought of it just makes me shake my head in sadness and pity for anyone is such a situation.


No one should ever have need a loan, unless it's for a big purchase like a car or a house. Don't you agree?

Many of those folks getting payday loans got there by living beyond their means. Running up credit cards, taking equity loans to pay off the credit cards, then run the cards back up again. Buying unnecessary things, like designer clothes, big screen TVs and new cars.

By the time they get to the payday loan point, they've dug themselves into such a deep hole.

I don't feel that the people themselves are pathetic, but just ignorant. Those places take advantage of such people, with their high fees. I do agree, however, that loans of that nature are unnecessary. People who feel they have no alternatives are in need of some serious personal financial education.
