I have looked on ebay for cars, bridges, trains, and of course, buildings, to add to my miniature village. But everything is overpriced. People want $30 for 1 thing! Village accessories available in stores are much cheaper, but not available until the holidays (around october) Where else can I look? The first person to give me a USEFUL answer, I guarantee you I'll pick you as my best answer!! :)

The coolest had to be in ABC Distributors catalog. Hey and it looks expensive, and the paint is nice not $30.00 it is only $11.95. You should also check out their really cool Christmas stuff.

Hallmark or other places see if they have them on sale the day after Christmas. Hope you find what you are looking for. It makes the winter festivities brighter when you have a nice village for everyone to enjoy.

I found that almost any of the cheap discount stores have them, but it's normally by season.
Aside from the one listed many times (Dollar Tree) there is also Big Lots, Only $1, and 50/50. I think there are also alot of "mom and pop" types stores like this in biger cities.
But like I said I believe it's going to be by season. Mostly around Christmas time.

The Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Everything's a Dollar, and any bargain store, like a 5 and dime. The ones around here always have stuff like that. You may want to shop a flea market on a weekend.

Even if you don't have a dollar tree store, you can check at any craft outlet. We have a Micheal's here and they offer alot of miniatures for every occasion and in any style. Prices range fron $2.19 on up. You can also buy unfinished items and paint them to suit you. I also know of another craft outlet called Ben Franklin's, they closed in my area. By going to a craft store I think you will be able to find many items, options, ect
